FIGURE DRAWING PRACTICE
These sketches are part of an on-going exercise mainly to improve my posture drawing and drawing clothes on people. Drawing from film stills means that the poses are often more natural, opposed to a live model, and the characters always have an intention. Part of these drawings is to also capture this intention through the pose. Drawing the folds and wrinkles in clothing adds to the poses, giving them a sense of movement, which is emphasised by the hasty, loose lines I have tried to use.
