  • Drawing him in a specific style in Illustrator. - The aim of this task was to draw our developed character in the style of an established artist/animator, Aglaia Mortcheva. Many of her characters on her blog featured short limbs, but I wanted to keep the exaggerated long limbs and small torso of my drawn character. I think my drawings somewhat reflect her style, in the colours, the style of the eyes, the use of small details and geometric shapes. Having said this, i think that I could have tried giving the limbs more of a curve instead of  straight lines connected at defined joints. I think in doing this also, my character would be more pliable and there would be more potential for expression. I think my placing of the knees lower down on the legs means that the character doesn't look quite right when his legs are bent. Possibly the joint should be nearer the middle of the leg. Other than that, I think the simplicity and clear definitions of limbs of/on my character do allow for easy movement and poseability.
